LITERATURE CIRCLE REFLECTIONS
So what do you think of literature circles?
What did you like?
What didn't you like?
What would you do differently next time?
How can I make the literature circles better?

Alisha- I think literature circles is a good place where you can get your thoughts outs. I like that we can post comments on a reading and others get to see and also comment on what we post. What i would do different is give more support to others on their comment post reading. How can i make it better is by taking more time to look at other's work then looking at my work all the time.
my favorite things about the residency was the idea of expressing one's thoughts through poetry and hearing the different voices about each and everyone through their poems. i also enjoyed working with tape, and creating different words with it. it was very different and unique.
the book that i read for literature circle was called Chinese Cinderella, by Adeline Yen Mah. the book was about a young girl named Adeline who struggled to over came the idea of being loathed by her family members and being told that she's unlucky. the story revolves around Adeline overcoming the struggle of being unwanted and having self confidence that it didn't matter where she came from, but how she got where she was going and believing in herself that she was talented.
I think the literature circles where good, I liked that we picked one book and read and chose quotes that we liked or found interesting, I didn't dislike nothing about the literature circles, I wouldn't change it or make it better because it was great
i liked using the internet to post our blog, what i didnt like was that i didn't got to meet the people that were reading the same book as me. What i would've done differently would be to work more harder in this book.
Alicia A Reflection-THe literature circles were interesting. I liked reading what other people had to say about the same book i was reading. NExt time we do literature circles i am going o try to read my book faster. And what i'll do to make it better is to get into more detail.

After you finish reading your book, determine what you think is the universal theme of the text. Write about this in a post. Include at least two pieces of evidence from the text. Reply to your group members. Notice any differences and discuss whether you agree or disagree.
